- 600 g Greenlea scotch steak, cut into 3-4cm cubes
- 1 tbs fish sauce
- 1 tbs brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
- 200 ml satay sauce
In a bowl, add the fish sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic and chilli flakes. Add 2 tablespoons satay sauce and whisk to combine. Add the steak pieces and stir to combine. Cover and marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Soak 8 bamboo skewers in water. Thread marinated meat onto skewers. Cook the skewers in a large, oiled frying pan or on the barbecue grill for 5-7 minutes total, turning to cook on all sides. Serve with satay sauce.
