Anti-inflammatory Mango and Lime Smoothie

Have you ever tried bone broth in a smoothie?

Sounds strange right? But incorporating bone broth into as many meals as possible can have huge health benefits ranging from improved gut health to glowing skin and strong nails.

But during the summer months, the thought of hot broth is less appealing. This is why we created this delicious smoothie.

Trust us, it’s a goodie.

We’ve added black pepper to the recipe because it improves the absorption of curcumin by 2000%, increasing its anti-inflammatory potential within the body.

 

Serves 2

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups Restore chicken bone broth
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • small grind of black pepper
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1/2 cup frozen banana
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger
  • 4 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 2 fresh limes (juiced)
Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend on high until completely smooth.
