Meet Greenlea’s ambassador chef

AMBASSADOR CHEF

Andrew Clarke is a renowned New Zealand chef currently based in the Waikato.
Much of Andrew’s passion is derived from the joy experienced in creating dishes from quality New Zealand produce.

Previously at Camarosa Cafe and Restaurant at The Ruakura Berry Farm, now at Kerr & Ladbrook Catering , Andrew continues to develop his menus to embrace sustainability and regional produce in a contemporary style.

Andrew's Accolades Include

  • Winner Mercedes-Benz Great Waikato Food Challenge.
  • Supreme Winner in the 2015 and 2016 Matariki Challenge.
  • Winner of 2014 and 5 times national finalist of the Monteith’s Beer and Wild Food Challenge.
  • Awarded a Chef’s Hat by Cuisine Magazine in 2013 and 2015, and two Hats in 2016 and 2017.
  • Andrew has been recognized for running New Zealand’s best regional restaurant by Cousine Magazine in 2013 and was runner-up in 2016.
  • Beef+Lamb NZ Ambassador in 2016.
